Bianco s.p.a. was established in the immediate post-war period, when the fast textile industry development in Alba created a strong demand for services traditionally supplied by small local companies.
In 1974 Mr. Mario Bianco, the Company''s founder, reorganised the mechanical work-shop of his father Candido into a maintenance oriented company first, then later mainly dedicated to textile machinery and components production.
The experience gained in these years and the creativity of the company''s design engineers soon produced excellent results.
In 1977 the detwisting machine and the stretching-centering unit called "COMPACT" went into the market: a real innovation compared to the traditional products .
These two patents enabled Bianco s.p.a. to lay the foundations for a wide and prestigious know-how in the field of textile machinery.
In the 80''s Bianco s.p.a. is a successful compay, well known throughout Italy, with a range of products which includes automatic weftstraighteners, rope squeezers and open width squeeze mangles, fabric preparation lines, slitting lines, rollers, curved cylinder, stretching machines and a complete range of accessories, together with the already mentioned detwisting units and stretching-centering units.
In the same period a system for tubular fabric opening and slitting was completed, which was fully automatic and combined reliability with high productivity.
A wide product range, quality and reliability enabled Bianco s.p.a. to enter into the international market, with the partecipation in the ITMA International Fair ,held in Milan in 1983.
In 1985 Bianco s.p.a. reached a new milestone in its development with the realization of a project started three years earlier, in which research, experimentation and field tests were combined to produce a new automatic weftstraightener, controlled by a microprocessor system, designed and built also by Bianco s.p.a..
Bianco''s market borders became wider and wider and reached China, where BEIJING EVER BRIGHT INDUSTRIAL COMPANY, a large industrial complex in Beijing, chose Bianco.''s weftstraighteners for a know-how transfer contract.
By then Bianco s.p.A. is present all over the world with a widespread commercial and after sales service organisation.
Today Bianco s.p.A. is a company with premises covering a surface of 15.000 sq. m., 150 highly skilled employees and proceeding with the strategic vision developed by Mr. Mario Bianco.
Now, as in the past, the strategy is for market share consolidation through the improvement of the technological process and the product quality in terms of reliability, flexibility and development of high productivity and automatic solutions as the most appropriate answer to today''s customers needs.
